This Paris romantic duplex/loft is located (accessible by elevator) on the top floor of a beautiful 19th century building, looking out on to a large and lovely courtyard. it's very quiet and protected from the street noise, safe, with a digicode, and very central. The flat is 80 square meters (900 square feet), and as just been beautifully renovated. it is tastefully designed with modern furniture, real wood floor. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a mezzanine. It is situated near the Opera and big department store Gallerie Lafayette on rue de la Victoire where Napoleon and Josephine owned a house.
The apartment is distributed over two levels. The ground floor consists of a kitchen and a dining area with a table for six, a bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, a separate toilet, and a living room; There is plenty of light with large windows. On the top floor there are one separate bedroom with a window and a velux, and an ensuite shower room. The mezzanine offers a sofa which can be used as a single bed, a desk and a chair with fast Internet access. This apartment comfortably sleeps 5 adults or a family with a couple and 3 children.
The large entrance takes you in the living room which has double-height ceiling part of which is galleried to the upper area. There is a dining table that can accomodate 6 people. The fully equipped open-plan kitchen includes a washer and separate dryer, dishwasher, oven, microwave...
The master bedroom has a queen size bed and an ensuite bathroom. On the level above, the second bedroom has a queen size bed that can be divided into 2 single beds, and an ensuite shower room.
The galleried landing room above the living room can be used as a sitting room with a cable TV or a single bedroom with its desk and chair, and a fast Internet access for your laptop.
About the Neighborhood
A diverse residential area popular among an artistic crowd. This Southern portion is similar to the 2nd arrondissement, with a mix of residential and business buildings. The Paris Opera is located here. Farther North is Pigalle, the fading Red Light district as well as the famous Moulin Rouge.
